Bio

My focus is on the developer or  property owner who seeks a designed project that can be built at a practical cost. Concentrating on development stemming from an architectural concept applied at the onset, often prior to acquisition of the property.  I assist clients in the purchase of the property as well as New York City filings with various agencies.  Through the combination of my legal and architectural background  I have been able to obtain tax abatements, zoning variances, and Department of Building approvals which have achieved a viable development of property that is both architecturally esthetic and economically successful.
On Christopher Street in the Greenwich Village Historic District, A contemporary building was developed behind a landmark facade.  This project development availed itself of a tax abatement and creation of exterior courtyard entry which permitted a bonus in rentable floor area in the project.
Development of a new townhouse in the NYC Chelsea area divided the site vertically to create two 12-foot wide mini houses.  This enabled the project to obtain funding for both partners.

At 301 Grand Street and 30 Hope Street in Brooklyn, a variation of the same building was used on two opposing frontages to achieve an economy of design and construction for the developer.

In Brooklyn the development of strip taxpayer stores was created and utilized in a variation at multiple sites.  Twelve foot wide mini stores were built to achieve an income base necessary to obtain funding for construction and steady stream of income for the owners.
